What excites you most about this project?

I am so excited, by so many things in this project. I am intrigued by the movement aspect, and exploring the idea of this cultural tradition, through oral and physical story telling. I am thrilled to be working with such a wonderful cast. We’ve already started our movement sessions and the energy that each person brings into the room is palpable. Everyone is so willing to play and explore, it’s already an incredible amount of fun.

What do you hope audiences take away from this experience?

What I hope the audience takes away from this production is the same thing I hope each and every audience member will take away from each and every Anon show. I hope that they feel a sense of catharsis, I hope that over the course of the show their breathing changes its pattern at least a few times; whether they gasp, laugh or cry. I hope they see the story or a character in a new way. But most of all, I hope they are moved and entertained.

What are you currently reading?

Currently I am reading the Tiger’s Wife, by… Tai Obei? I could have that name wrong. It takes place in the Balkans. I don’t know anything about the Balkans. That’s why I bought it. It’s incredible so far.

What is your dream job?

My dream job? I want to get paid well to travel. I’m looking at grad school for International Business, or possibly Entertainment Patent Law in the next few years. My dream dream DREAM job, is working on/travelling with a Cirque Du Soliel or Cavalia show in some capacity. Ideally as a performer but more likely in make-up/body paint or something on the production side.
