Mission
To Create, To Illuminate, To Explore
Our mission is to create an experience of the senses; to illuminate our human truths through language, movement, and music; to explore human moments to create living texts that will incite dialogue about how we live together.
Anon It Moves is a female led, 501(c)3 not for profit arts organization. We collaborate to produce ensemble based productions of classical texts.
Our work is characterized by developmental workshop periods to create physical languages and relationships. This process allows us to focus on establishing unique worlds for our stories to live in.

We hope to promote a poly-cultural worldview that re-imagines history and humanity through a multitude of rich and layered perspectives.
We embrace diversity and honor our complex histories as we strive to offer vital interpretations of classical and classical-inspired works, that are of this time, this place, this cultural moment.

Origins
Artistic Directors Caitlin Fisher Draeger and Erica Terpening Romeo met at Lewis and Clark College. After working on a few projects together, they decided to embark on the tremendous challenge of starting their own company.

We started to talk about the kind of theatre that excites us, and that we find particularly moving. We’re very attracted to using various mediums of story telling along with the text: dance, puppets, music. We’re excited by the depth offered by site specific works.
