Exploration
We spend a lot of time in the rehearsal room building and strengthening physical, emotional, and psychological relationships with one another.
During our Main Stage Season, we concurrently produce a series of workshops to develop new scripts, to educate our ensemble members, to secure artistic partnerships, to solidify relationships with local companies and artists.

Spring 2013
Our first Workshop established a physical language for our Company.
We met once a week for three months to explore storytelling with abstract movement, utilizing a number of approaches to physical ensemble development.
This work was crucial to our staging of The Fifth.

Set in the western mountains, during the dry, summer months, Way Tight on the Brown Earth, tells of long-time friends who are meeting at a ranch they built and co-own.
Playing with the use of space and time there are many layers to the theatrical experience. The play uses the art of storytelling through music and food to celebrate and destroy the familial bonds that help to define us.
